LER Regulations 2025 – We Guide You Through the Changes

As of September 29, a number of important updates to LER – Ethical Rules for the Pharmaceutical Industry in Sweden – have come into effect.

The changes include:

  • Change in minimum information requirements for patient materials for prescription medicines
  • Extension of the reporting period for Lif’s cooperation database
  • Clarification that only marketing materials should be submitted as statutory copies to the IGN
  • Introduction of a new mandatory structure and report for public disclosure of transfers of value to the healthcare sector
  • Removal of information regarding the Penal Code
